Guide Dispatch
Application
- * The fee varies depending on the time of year and the area where the guide is assigned.
- * Peak season : March 10 - April 20 and October 10 - November 20
Regular Season: Dates other than above - * The dispatch area is divided into “Tokyo/Around Tokyo” area and “Kyoto/Osaka Around Kyoto and Osaka" area.
- *We can arrange guides all over Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa because we have more than 1000 National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter and we also establish Foreign Language speaking Tour Manager.
How to apply
1. Initial Contact
If you would like to apply for Tailored Tours, please access the application page using the QR code on the right. You can apply via the website in one of two ways: A) or B).
A) Apply by E-mail : Complete the document "REQUEST FOR TRAVEL QUOTATION" and E-mail it to info@truejapantours.com.
B) Apply by Web form : Please apply using the Web form from below.
Emergency arrangement fee will be charged for request made less than 3 days prior 20 percent to the date of arrangement.
2. Planning
We will give you a rough estimate of the guide fee and the amount needed for the day's guiding, such as entrance fee, public transportation fare etc.) after we get your request.
We will add a certain amount of planning and handling fees to the price of the trip in case you need not only guides but also reservations such as accommodation, private vehicles, restaurants, and so on
3. Agreement
Once you agree on the rough estimate, please proceed the payment by bank transfer or credit card at least 5 days before the tour in principle for the first transaction with us.
We also accept invoices from companies with whom we have done business in the past.
4. Contract
Guide arrangement contract will be made once payment is confirmed.
In the event of a cancellation, a full refund, excluding handling charges, will be made if the cancellation occurs before the date specified by us. Within the cancellation period, a fixed amount will be deducted after calculation.
Upon payment, start looking for a guide. Once your assigned guide is confirmed, we will send you the guide's contact information and other details.
This information is strictly personal and should not be shared with any third party.
Since True Japan Tour is the intermediary of the contract with the guide, personal requests to the guide are strictly prohibited. (Additional requests can be made, but please be sure to contact our staff for further information.
5. After arranging guides
If additional billing is required after the guide dispatch service, an invoice or payment link will be sent to you, so please pay as soon as possible.
Note: Changes or additional arrangements after the final itinenary has been confirmed will be charged at a rate of *3,300JPY per arrangement

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation charges will apply when the notification of cancellation is received:
- 14-3 days before the tour day: 20% of the total fee
- 2 days before the tour day: 50% of the total fee
- 1 day before, on the tour day, or cancellation without notice: 100% of the total fee.
＊With regards to the cancellation of multiple tours, the cancellation policy will apply to the date of the first tour.
