1. Guide Grade System

We have classified our guides into six grade levels based on their skills, experience, and qualifications.
When requesting guide services,
you may specify your preferred guide grade for each tour or for each tour date.
We will then assign and introduce a guide who meets the criteria for the requested grade.
The rate will be calculated by applying the applicable grade multiplier (as shown in the Grade Table) to the Standard grade rate listed on this webpage.

[Policy]
1. The guide grade of assigned guides
We will assign a guide whose evaluation meet or exceed the grade you request.
Therefore, the selected grade should be regarded as the minimum standard of qualifications and experience for the assigned guide.
In some cases, you may have a higher-grade guide—for example, a Premium-level guide—while paying the Standard rate.

 2. a pre-assignment interview with the guide and/or the submission of the guide’s résumé/CV
【For FIT bookings】If you require a pre-assignment interview with the guide and/or the submission of the guide’s résumé/CV, please request Advanced Grade or higher.
【For group bookings】Requests for a pre-assignment interview with the guide and/or the submission of the guide’s résumé/CV are available starting from the Standard Grade.

3. Specific Guide Request
If you wish to request a specific guide by name, the assignment will be made at the Advanced Grade level or higher.
