Starting from your hotel, you'll enjoy a walk through the lush, green city during the cooler hours of the day.
After a 1.5 to 2-hour stroll, you'll visit shopping areas, restaurants, or other tourist attractions of your choice.
HIGHLIGHT
Hibiya Park is filled with seasonal flowers all year round.
Starting from the park, we’ll walk along the path surrounding the Imperial Palace popular among early-morning joggers.
This scenic route features stone walls, moats, and black pine trees.
Along the way, we’ll visit several notable landmarks, including Sakuradamon Gate, Nijubashi Bridge, Tokyo Station, and Wadakura Fountain Park.
After the walk, we’ll take you to explore either Nihonbashi or Ginza.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
[Basic Course (90 minutes)]
1. Hibiya Park
Hibiya Park is Japan’s first Western-style park.
The seasonal highlights change throughout the year, but even in the summer, you can enjoy a wide variety of flowers such as roses, lilies, hydrangeas, and fragrant olive. The area surrounding the park is also rich in attractions:
*Shimbashi, the birthplace of Japanese railways, features a historic steam locomotive on display.
*Tokyo Takarazuka Theater, home to the famous all-female musical troupe.
*Toho Co., Ltd., the film studio behind Godzilla, has a Godzilla statue displayed outdoors.
*Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, a modern complex with a wide selection of shops and restaurants.
2. Imperial Palace Loop Walk
Enjoy a scenic 1.4 km walk between the palace moat and the black pine forest.
Highlights along the route include:
*Sakuradamon Gate, once a key defensive point of Edo Castle
*The Nijubashi Bridge, with its stone and iron bridges standing side by side, exudes both dignity and tranquility.
*Bronze statue of Kusunoki Masashige, a symbol of samurai loyalty and spirit
*Gyoko-dori Avenue, the widest street in Japan at 50 meters, leading directly to Tokyo Station
* The Wadakura Fountain Park was built to commemorate imperial marriages, and it is home to a peaceful café.
