The Chukyo metropolitan area, one of the three largest metropolitan areas in Japan, is located in the center of Tokyo and Kyoto; Nobunaga Oda, Hideyoshi Toyotomi, and Ieyasu Tokugawa, who unified the country during the Warring States period of the 16th century, were all from this region. Even in modern times, some world-renowned Japanese manufacturers such as Toyota, Yamaha, and Honda were established here. This area combines a great deal of historical heritage with cutting-edge technology.
