Career
Born in Tokyo, after graduating from college, I worked as a nurse at a university hospital, then went to the US to study abroad, worked for a global pharmaceutical company, was a research nurse in the US, and worked in marketing after returning to Japan.
Since 2018, I have become a National Interpreter Guide and provides interpreter guide services as a sole proprietor. I am a medical interpreter level 1 holder and not only interprets for clients, but also handles medical tourism matters.
I am a tour guide for groups and individuals, (medical) interpreter, and conference interpreter. Certified as an instructor (Level 1) of the Japan Tourism Agency’s Inbound Competence Training Program, I have assisted staff involved in inbound activities in learning English. Certified as a food hygiene manager and a sushi instructor extensively, I specialize in promoting Japanese food in combination with Japanese sake.
