We were exceedingly happy with Horikoshi- san. He was incredibly competent, kept us on track  on the itinerary to see all the amazing sites, able to research and find solutions when we asked for some modifications, good company throughout the trip, with a great sense of humor.

Hideto, was the main reason our experience was so stellar. He was kind, hospitable, patient, delightful, and truly made us feel welcome. I cannot thank him enough. Hideto was mindful of our health and safety, and we had no issues with the trip. Hideto truly made this experience unforgettable. He went above and beyond to accommodate any requests we made, and even offered to come along with us on our free days and give us additional information and local knowledge for things we had planned on our own.
He was so incredibly warm and hospitable, and truly cared about us, and was so happy to share his country with us. We were truly moved and tearful when we had to depart and say goodbye to him. He was an amazing tour guide, and I hope everyone will get to experience their vacations with him.

We were very impressed with Hideto as our tour leader. He was sympathetic to each personal’s particular interests, but never seemed rushed or stressed. We felt he performed above and beyond our expectations.

I hadn’t expected to have such visible, mental and emotional enjoyment. There has been so much learned on this trip much due to you all. So thank you and to our generous leader Hideto – you have been a treasure.

Hideto did a great job of ensuring everyone was having a great trip. Great guy, very calm, very approachable and professional.

Hideto went above and beyond! Even worked out quickly the group liked timings at locations so we could go look and come back. After that point he would spend the time writing detailed (and I mean detailed) timing itineraries even down to what time trains started and finished too! It was amazing to plan around if you wanted to see something close by.

Hideto, our leader was friendly, approachable, patient and very kind to the children on tour. He was helpful when it came to assisting us with arranging activities outside of the itinerary or taking photos and also generous in so many ways throughout the tour. He provided little treats for the kids on the long train trips, purchased black eggs for everyone to try in Hakone, a snack during the Hozu boat ride and went out of his way to arrange a cake and gift for my daughters birthday. Hideto was amazing in organizing the luggage transfers and assisting in translating conversations in Japanese where necessary. I feel that having Hideto as our leader enhanced our experience and we will miss him now the tour is over. His knowledge of Japan and ability to answer our questions meant we were able to really appreciate the Japanese culture and heritage. Thank you Hideto!

Thanks so so SO much for being our amazing tour guide throughout this trip! You are such a funny guy and always managed to make me laugh during your tour talkings, thanks for helping during the trip and we’ll miss you 😊 GOODBYE!
