          The companionship of fellow travelers and our guide Hideto, included lots of laughing. Hideto was very generous with his time and made sure that everyone in our tour group was informed of the ongoing travel plans.           Hideto went above and beyond! Even worked out quickly the group liked timings at locations so we could go look and come back. After that point he would spend the time writing detailed (and I mean detailed) timing itineraries even down to what time trains started and finished too!           *Hideto* was great! He wore a yellow jacket throughout the trip that made it easy to find him. He never seemed flustered, even when something went wrong (there was a time where it was hard to find lockers for bags and he handled it so well). He learned that we liked knowing the timing and schedule of things so he sent us the next day’s timing each day via whatsapp.<\/p>\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

          Hideto, our leader was friendly, approachable, patient and very kind to the children on tour. He was helpful when it came to assisting us with arranging activities outside of the itinerary or taking photos and also generous in so many ways throughout the tour. He provided little treats for the kids on the long train trips, purchased black eggs for everyone to try in Hakone, a snack during the Hozu boat ride and went out of his way to arrange a cake and gift for my daughters birthday. Hideto was amazing in organizing the luggage transfers and assisting in translating conversations in Japanese where necessary. I feel that having Hideto as our leader enhanced our experience and we will miss him now the tour is over. His knowledge of Japan and ability to answer our questions meant we were able to really appreciate the Japanese culture and heritage.
